Orthodontist, Montgomery & Wetumpka, AL
During your first visit with Dr. Dunn, she will perform a visual examination of the patient's mouth, take an X-ray to determine the development of the teeth, explain what she sees occurring, discuss possible treatment options and answer any questions you may have. "Do braces hurt?" is the most common question asked by children. The answer is that initially there will be some soreness, which may last a couple of days. "How much will it cost?" and "Do I have payment options?" are the most common questions asked by parents.

Our New Patient Coordinators will give you a written estimate and discuss with you several payment plans. Both children and parents want to know how long orthodontic treatment will take. The answer to that is a little more complex. It depends on the severity of the malocclusion and at what stage treatment is begun. Treatment can range from six months, for minor interceptive treatment, to 36 months for a complex comprehensive treatment.
