Dr. S. Kendall Dunn
Dr. Dunn is a Montgomery area native and a graduate of The Montgomery Academy. She entered college at the University of Mississippi in 1980, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and English. In the spring of 1988, Dr. Dunn graduated with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine before continuing her education at the University of Tennessee where she received a Master of Science in Orthodontics.
After Dr. Dunn completed her "Southeastern Conference Tour," she returned to Montgomery to open her orthodontic practice in 1990. Since then, she and her husband, John, have been busy with their two daughters, Dawson and Laurel. You may see the girls in the office joining their mom for lunch or stopping by to show off their latest art project. If you were to ask Dr. Dunn how she spends her free time, she would tell you she really doesn't have any between her busy practice and her family. If she did, though, she'd want to be traveling or reading a great book out in the sunshine.
Dr. Dunn is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and their state components, as well as a member of the Montgomery Junior League and St. John's Episcopal Church.
When asked about being an orthodontist, she'll tell you how fortunate she feels to be doing something she loves so much. "It's a great profession where you get to make a huge difference in how someone looks and how they feel about themselves."
Dr. Alex C. Schreiber
Dr. Schreiber, being an Air Force “brat”, considers the town of Kaiserslautern in Germany as his hometown. Most of his formative years were spent there, and in 1997, he graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School. That fall, he returned to the United States to enter the alma mater of his grandparents, Auburn University. After just three years of study, he graduated, earning the highest honor designation of Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biomedical science. In 2001, he entered the School of Dentistry at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and graduated again with Honors four years later. In July 2005, he began his Orthodontic Residency, also at UAB, and graduated in 2008 with an Orthodontic Certification and a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Alabama Second District Dental Association.
Dr. Schreiber is a true water enthusiast and likes anything to do with the beach, river or lake. He is an avid runner, and he and his wife, Julie, and son, Aidan, love to travel. They are very excited about living in the Montgomery area.
Dr. Schreiber brings an energetic dynamic to the practice. That, coupled with his light-hearted manner, certainly makes for an enjoyable visit to the office.
